Empowering Tomorrow’s Jewish Community Leaders Today

Sharpen your leadership credentials, hone your skills and talents and drive positive change at the Eliot Osrin Leadership Institute  (EOLI).

We’re facilitating bold, visionary and ethical leadership to ensure that the next generation of leaders is shaped by our shared Jewish values.

Incorporating current global Jewish leadership best practice, our programmes are designed to empower current, emerging, professional or lay (volunteer) community leaders.

We created the Eliot Osrin Leadership Institute in 2018 to honour the visionary leadership and strategic foresight of the late Eliot Osrin.

The Eliot Osrin Leadership Institute is at the forefront of shaping leadership trends in the Cape Town Jewish Community.

WHAT WE DELIVER

At the Eliot Osrin Leadership Institute, we design programmes that upskill, grow and transform leadership. Our programmes are taught and facilitated by a faculty of world-class management and leadership specialists who bridge theory and leadership practice.

Extended Leadership Development Programme – our flagship

EOLI’s flagship Extended Leadership Development Programme blends state-of-the-art curricula with MBA executive- business-school faculty, applying theory and immersion to personal, professional and communal leadership.

Workshops

Our workshops address leadership challenges trending in business and the NGO sector applied to community. Each workshop is designed with a broad communal audience in mind to promote a culture of continuous learning.

Short Courses

Our short course content is thoughtfully crafted and relevant to today’s challenges, and can immediately be put into practice. It takes into consideration the needs of busy professionals, eager to drive their careers and community involvement forward with a dynamic cohort of like-minded colleagues.

Facilitation

EOLI offers facilitation and upskilling at all levels of community organisation management and leadership. Faculty are experts in their given field and committed to the values of EOLI.

Mentorship & Coaching

EOLI is synonymous with incubating leaders with a vision for succession and sustainability. We  offer mentorship and coaching at all levels for emerging and current leaders in both lay and professional roles.

Leadership Talent Scouting

EOLI casts a wide net to identify and develop next-generation talent for leadership.

WHAT OUR ALUMNI HAVE TO SAY

The EOLI leadership development programme has afforded me the opportunity to rev my personal and professional development into top gear. The theory has been meaty and challenging, covering a wide spectrum of intellectually stimulating and practical topics. My knowledge and understanding of Cape Town’s Jewish community has expanded enormously, delving deeply into ideas around ethics, leadership, values, communication, coaching and systems theory, impacting me on cognitive and emotional levels; I am not the same person I was when I started this journey.

Janine Rodgers (2020 EOLI Graduate)

The EOLI programme has empowered me to be a new generation leader to our Jewish community and to serve wherever I will be best suited to make a difference. It has been the most professional leadership course I have ever attended having worked alongside a group of phenomenal peers, incredible organisers, lecturers and current leaders. Thank you sincerely EOLI.

Roberto Franco (2018 EOLI Graduate)
